Job summary

Lampire Biological Labs, Inc. is seeking a motivated Large Animal Technician I to provide animal care, enrichment, and environment upkeep. You will support high-quality animal care and maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance and consistent product quality.

Responsibilities include daily husbandry, cage cleaning, inventory, and operation of ENOS software, with a focus on safety, teamwork, and reliable performance in a fast-paced biotech environment.

Qualifications

• Farm animal background or experience preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Windows-based computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good oral and written communication skills (English) required.
• Good mathematical skills; strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and bedding of animal pens and cleaning feeders/waterers.
• Perform routine barn cleanings and upkeep of common areas.
• Prepare and stage supplies around the facilities.
• Perform routine husbandry tasks (hoof trimming, weighing animals, etc.).
• Record observations on treatment sheets and keep barn diaries updated.
• Update all husbandry tasks in ENOS software and paperwork.
