Job summary

Charles River seeks a Behavioral Assistant to prepare and distribute animal enrichment products for treatment, care, and well-being under veterinary guidance. The role involves documenting data, inventory control, and collaboration with the Behavioral Team to ensure timely, accurate enrichment delivery.

Candidates should have HS/GED with no experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work extended hours.

Qualifications

• HS/GED with no experience.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels inside and outside the organization.
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to learn a validated system.
• Ability to work extended hours and under time constraints.
• Authorized to work in the United States without a sponsor visa.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage animal enrichment food and products as directed by veterinary staff and in consultation with Behavioral Specialist.
• Distribute enrichment food and products to animals as directed by veterinary staff.
• Stock enrichment supplies and assist with inventory management.
• Document enrichment tasks accurately and within the agreed timeframe.
• Keep colleagues and customers informed about enrichment inventory and ensure respectful communications.
