Caregiver/ Home Health

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide/Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes, enhancing their quality of life and promoting independence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, offering companionship, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing).
  2. Prepare and serve nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
  3. Provide medication reminders and help clients manage their medications.
  4. Help clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety.
  5. Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
  6. Offer companionship and engage clients in social and recreational activities.
  7. Document and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the supervisor.
  8. Operate medical equipment as required and assist with prescribed physical therapy exercises.
  9. Maintain a safe and respectful environment, adhering to privacy and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role preferred.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.
  5. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
  6. Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and carry out physical tasks.
  7. Basic home skill, PPD or Blood work TB results.
  8. Must drive.
