Strategic Management Solutions, LLC (SMSI) is seeking a Construction Manager (Project Manager III) to oversee LANL construction projects in the field. This role requires strong on-site leadership, safety discipline, and coordination across engineering, procurement, and controls teams.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of construction/project management experience, deep knowledge of government compliance and nuclear industry standards, and the ability to manage budgets and schedules while

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in project or program management and construction
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, lead and monitor multiple teams.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize, coordinate and manage project activities.
• Provide direction to project teams and group leaders.
• Monitor performance against budget and schedule; adjust as needed.
• Administer project budgets and staffing; approve appointments.
• Review budgets, schedules, and costs for acceptability.
• Review specifications and drawings for constructability and cost.
• Coordinate with PM, Design Eng., Procurement, and other departments.
• Identify issues and propose corrective actions.
• Counsel Site Managers for successful execution of construction.
• Develop and review operations controls and project procedures.
• Contribute to proposal development and project planning.
• Monitor field distributable expenses and budget adherence.
• Staff construction site teams and monitor performance and quality.
• Ensure field procedures and controls are followed.
• Provide training programs and promote a safe, respectful environment.
• May serve as CAM to manage costs and schedules for a project.
