Job description

Language Trainers is a successful language training company working with freelance teachers of 70 different languages in hundreds of towns and cities across the world. Students are either in-company or self-funded, needing to learn a language at their office or home for work, family, or travel reasons. Founded in 2004, the company’s motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere!

We are currently looking for an Albanian language teacher for one of our clients in Manhattan.

Job Details:

1. This lady has booked general, one-to-one, Gheg Albanian language lessons for her 7-year-old son.

2. Course length: 30 hours (30 x 1-hour sessions).

3. Location: at the student's home in the Upper East Side, or the teacher's (your) office/home or a public location in/near Manhattan, NY (10028).

4. Student's current Albanian level is Beginner. Gheg dialect is preferred.

5. Classes should be held on Wednesdays after 3 pm.

6. The student would like to start as soon as possible.

Ideal Teacher:

1. Be a native speaker of Albanian OR hold a teaching degree.

2. Have experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.

3. Have a valid working visa.

4. Live within 30 miles of the client's location.

Location and schedule are flexible based on your and the client's availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance part-time position, and we are not able to sponsor visas.
