Qualifications

• Using the ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines, the language evaluator are support, entry level, individual contributors that assesses the proficiency level of missionaries and teacher applicants in the target language.
• Assess proficiency levels and report ratings to the Language Evaluation Supervisor through appropriate channels.
• Participates in regular individual trainings in order to improve intra-rater reliability, evaluation skills and accuracy.
• Participates in regular group trainings in order to improve interrater reliability and accuracy.
• Supports an effort to build and maintain an environment of increased harmony, trust, and good will within the department and the MTC.
• Performs secretarial and clerical tasks as needed
• May take on additional responsibilities as an Actor to role-play as a non-member interested in learning about The Church of Jesus Christ
• May include other temporary assigned duties at the MTC (e.g. assisting with Mission Leadership Seminar)
