Expected compensation: 29.00 - 31.00 USD Per Hour.

HireArt is helping a global leader in AI development hire Language Auditors - Japanese (Full-Time) to train generative artificial intelligence models in specialty domains.

We are looking for native Japanese speakers with a background in translation, linguistics, or professional writing, who can review and audit complex data for accuracy and consistency. Ideal candidates include translators, interpreters, educators, linguists, and professional writers.

In this role, you will evaluate work produced for high-priority projects, including AI prompts and responses, ensuring factual accuracy. You may work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities

1. Audit work for language projects used to train AI models.
2. Review original prompts and responses for AI.
3. Assess factual accuracy of AI-generated text.
4. Participate in weekly meetings (2-4 times).

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree.
2. Native fluency in Japanese.
3. Post-graduate degree in Japanese, translation, or professional Japanese writing/editing, or equivalent experience.
4. Excellent attention to detail and consistency.
5. Strong English communication skills.
6. Availability to work on weekends (Saturday or Sunday).

Preferred Qualifications

1. Interest in AI and machine learning.
2. Fluency in English or another language.

This is a full-time, remote, ongoing contract position (30-40 hours/week), staffed via HireArt, available to U.S. candidates excluding California. Preference for candidates who can work M-F, 8 hours/day, with some weekend flexibility.
