Job summary

NSA’s Linguists, known as Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs), contribute to the SIGINT mission by analyzing, transcribing, and translating foreign language materials. The LADP offers intensive training with up to three years of tours and classroom work, designed to build core analytic competencies.

Applicants must have ILR 2/2 in reading/listening for the target language and at least one year of relevant experience in language work or related fields.

Qualifications

• Minimum ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for the target language.
• At least one year of relevant experience in language work or related fields.
• For higher levels, leadership experience may be required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate foreign language materials.
• Provide written and oral assessments with insights for SIGINT mission.
• Collaborate with analysts across the Intelligence Community and NSA components.
• Mentor and guide other language analysts as needed.
