Job summary

CNSS • National Security Systems is seeking multilingual analysts to join NSA’s Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs) program. The role focuses on translating, transcribing, and analyzing foreign language materials to support SIGINT operations.

Candidates may enter the Language Analysis Development Program (LADP) or be hired directly into analytic positions. The LADP provides up to three years of training with diverse operational tours and rigorous coursework to build core analytic

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 reading and listening in target language required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant language or non-language experience in related fields.
• Entry/Developmental: HS diploma + 4 years, or Associate +2, or Bachelor +0.
• Full Performance: HS +7, or Associate +5, or Bachelor +3, or Master +1, etc.
• Senior: HS +10, or Associate +8, or Bachelor +6, or Master +4 etc.
• Testing and resume population instructions must be followed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate key information from foreign language materials.
• Research cultures and geopolitical context.
• Apply innovative techniques to analyze large volumes of data across sources.
• Demonstrate understanding of communications and technology trends.
• Craft written and oral assessments for NSA SIGINT mission.
• Work independently and collaborate with NSA and IC partners.
