Job summary

CNSS • National Security Systems seeks NSA linguists (MDLAs) to contribute to SIGINT by analyzing, transcribing, and translating foreign language materials. The role may feed into the Language Analysis Development Program (LADP) or direct hire into analytic offices.

LADP lasts up to three years with multiple tours and intensive training, focusing on foreign language materials within SIGINT analysis. Applicants should indicate proficiency in the languages they are proficient in and meet ILR level

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 reading and listening in the target language is required.
• At least one year of relevant experience in language work or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Offer policymakers and leaders insights by analyzing, transcribing, and translating key information.
• Research cultures and geopolitical contexts to understand their operations.
• Apply new techniques to address analytic problems and synthesize large data sets.
• Demonstrate understanding of communications and technology trends.
• Craft written and oral assessments with unique insights for NSA SIGINT.
• Work independently and with colleagues across NSA and the Intelligence Community.
