Job summary

NSA's Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs) translate, transcribe, and analyze foreign language material to support policymakers and military leaders. They engage with partners across the Intelligence Community and may enter the LADP or direct-hire analytic roles.

The LADP lasts up to three years, offering intense, accelerated training with multiple operational tours and formal classroom instruction focused on SIGINT analysis and development.

Qualifications

• Minimum language proficiency ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening.
• Degree in any field acceptable; related experience preferred.
• Experience in translation, transcription, analysis, or related language work.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate key information for policymakers and leaders.
• Research cultures and their geopolitical context to inform assessments.
• Develop creative analytic solutions across large data sets and sources.
• Prepare written and oral assessments with unique insights for NSA.
