Job summary

CNSS • National Security Systems seeks linguists with proficiency in target languages to support the NSA SIGINT mission. The role may lead into the Language Analysis Development Program (LADP) or direct hire into analytic positions.

LADP offers an intense, multi-tour program with classroom and field training to build specialized SIGINT capabilities, including language analysis and cross‑agency collaboration. Proficiency and clear documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum ILR level required for reading and listening in the target language.
• Degree in any field accepted for entry; relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in translation, transcription, or intelligence analysis is relevant.

Responsibilities

• Offer policymakers and leaders analysis from foreign language materials.
• Translate, transcribe, and assess language data across sources.
• Research cultures and geopolitical contexts to inform assessments.
• Craft written and oral assessments with insights beyond other disciplines.
• Work both independently and with NSA/IC partners on analysis and reporting.
