Job summary

Stay Alert Safety Services, an AWP Safety Company, seeks a Lane Closure Specialist to perform lane closures on state highways and roadways, redirecting traffic and coordinating with crew members.

You will establish safe work zones, ensure project safety during closures, and collaborate with teammates to maintain high safety standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• Hours of operation may vary due to staffing needs - CURRENT HOURS: Starting between 5-6pm and working 10-14 hour overnight shifts
• Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles
• Frequent exposure to a variety of extreme conditions at job sites including high noise level in the work environment
• The position may work in outside conditions that include inclement weather, not limited to heat, cold, humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt
• Position lifts or carries objects up to 50 pounds
• Stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions; employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects
• Position requires good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination

• Experienced Hires SigningBonus - $1,000 at 30 days in role (no discipline or attendance issues)

Job Description

As a Lane Closure Specialist, you will perform lane closures on state highways and other roadways, redirecting traffic for workers or survey crews, and working independently or as part of a traffic control crew.

• Collaborating with team members to ensure the safety of all.
• Managing traffic flow effectively with stop/slow paddles.
• Delivering exceptional service and protection to our clients.
