Whitetail Club in McCall, Idaho, is seeking Landscaping Technicians to beautify our Shore Lodge grounds and the homes of our exclusive members. This is a physical, outdoor role that keeps landscapes, irrigation, paths, and parking areas clean and well maintained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; or relevant experience.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Ability to operate small machinery safely.
• Experience in landscaping or resort/hospitality preferred.
• Comfort with outdoor physical work in different weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform varied landscaping duties on our grounds.
• Maintain drains, remove debris, and clear leaves.
• Prepare flower beds; seasonal cleanups.
• Keep pathways and parking lots clean and maintained.
• Safely operate utility vehicles for hauling materials.
• Replace exterior lights and verify working order.
• Complete daily assignment sheets and checklists.
• Support the Department Manager with new tasks as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and fulfill other duties.

What You Get To Do

• Perform varied landscaping duties while working on our beautiful grounds
• Maintain drains, blow and bag leaves, remove snow, mud, and debris
• Prepare flower beds, complete fall and winter grounds clean up
• Keep all pathways and parking lots clean, maintain pool areas to meet resort standards
• Safely operate utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris for routine projects
• Replace exterior lights and verify working order
• Hold responsibility for completing assignment sheets/check lists daily
• Maintain flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Department Manager
• Attend staff meetings and other duties as assigned

Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Ability to safely operate small machinery, hand held and walking equipment.
• Self-motivation, the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/assignments without supervision.
• A love of the outdoors and working in different types of weather, enjoying physical labor.
• Ability to re-prioritize and move between projects as needs change and pick up where you left off.
• A basic understanding planting/landscaping and irrigation systems.
• Strong communication skills for guest/member and internal team interaction.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License and clean Driving Record.
• High school diploma; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior hotel/Resort experience coupled with customer service industry background preferred.
• Previous landscaping experience also preferred.
