Job summary

• 1+ years of landscaping/grounds experience preferred.
• Experience with outdoor maintenance tasks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Planting, watering, pruning, and fertilizing landscape plants.
• Weed control by mechanical and chemical methods.
• Maintain grounds equipment and irrigation systems.
• Remove litter, leaves, trash and debris.
• Assist with campus event setup and other grounds projects.

The Landscape Technician performs a variety of landscape and grounds maintenance duties, including planting, watering, pruning, and fertilizing landscape plants; controlling weeds mechanically and chemically; maintaining grounds equipment and irrigation systems; and removing litter, leaves, trash, and debris.

The position also assists with campus event setup and other projects that improve the appearance, safety, and functionality of University grounds.
