Job summary

Environmental Air Systems, Inc. in Asheboro, NC is hiring a Landscaping Technician to maintain grounds and exterior appearance at multiple EAS locations. You will operate commercial landscaping equipment and perform routine grounds work to ensure safe, clean outdoor environments.

The role requires reading/speaking English or Spanish, a High School Diploma or GED, and prior landscaping experience. Schedule is Monday–Thursday 6:00 am–4:30 pm with overtime and travel between locations; benefits

Qualifications

• Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or related landscaping/grounds experience.
• Previous commercial landscaping or grounds maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform outdoor labor.

Responsibilities

• Mow, edge, trim, blow, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas at EAS properties.
• Prune shrubs and small trees, maintain planting beds, apply mulch, and remove weeds.
• Collect leaves, debris, and ensure clean entrances, sidewalks, and parking areas.
• Operate zero-turn mowers, tractors, string trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and related equipment.
• Inspect equipment and perform routine maintenance; check irrigation components for leaks or issues.
• Assist with planting, seeding, sod, soil prep, erosion control, and seasonal projects.
