Job summary

Cedar Point in Ohio is seeking an experienced Landscaping Supervisor to oversee the landscapers across rides and facilities, plan programs, and ensure policies are followed. This role coordinates with multiple departments, supervises daily tasks, and maintains essential records.

You will manage schedules, review construction drawings, assist on projects, keep paperwork organized, and help ensure safety and policy compliance while maintaining grounds during the year.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment on multiple projects with associates across all levels and departments of the organization.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods on a regular basis.
• Ability to pass a drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by State, Federal or provincial law.
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line of supervision to landscaper’s department employees
• Assures that ride policies and procedures are followed, along with pest control policies and proper records are maintained
• Communicates effectively in verbal and written form with all other divisions to ensure the completion of projects and tasks
• Maintain budgets for the landscape department
• Assures all Company and Union policies are followed
• Schedules employees and projects related to the landscaping trades and assures that all projects in these areas are completed as intended
• Assists in construction projects and reviews construction drawings of projects assigned
• Maintains all necessary paperwork pertaining to the landscaping department

The Landscaping Supervisor will provide necessary supervision and coordination of landscapers to all departments. Effectively supervise and plan programs to maintain all rides and facilities that fall under landscapers.

Job Status/Type: Full-time, year-round

Position Level: Entry/Mid-Level
