Job summary

The Cliffs in Six Mile, SC is seeking a Landscape Laborer I to support land clearing and general landscaping operations. This entry-level role requires 1–2 years of experience and the ability to perform manual tasks.

You will move soil, plant trees, install irrigation support, water areas, and perform basic grounds maintenance under supervision. The job emphasizes safety and adherence to company procedures.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of landscaping experience.
• Ability to understand instructions in English.
• Able to recognize dangerous situations and avoid them when possible.

Responsibilities

• Move soil, equipment, and materials.
• Dig holes for plants and trees using pick and shovel.
• Mix fertilizer or lime with dirt to enrich soil.
• Place plants or trees in holes and cover with soil.
• Attach wires from planted trees to stakes.
• Haul or spread topsoil with a wheelbarrow and rake.
• Assist with irrigation system installation.
• Water lawns, trees, and plants with sprinkler or hose.
• Spread straw over seeded soil to prevent movement.
• Mow lawns with a power mower.
• Assist with under-brushing home sites using hand tools.
• Operate small-motorized equipment under supervision per OSHA.
• Assist with seeding, fertilizing and straw placement on new land.
• Assist with erosion control and equipment care.
