Estate Landscaping & Lawn Maintenance, LLC seeks a Landscaping Foreman to lead a crew in outdoor landscape maintenance and installation projects. Responsibilities include supervising crew, scheduling daily work, coordinating with clients on-site, and ensuring paperwork accuracy.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience supervising and managing landscape crews.
  • Strong horticultural knowledge including plant health and pest management.
  • Ability to program and troubleshoot irrigation controllers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with diverse groups.
  • Ability to complete timecards and paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Demonstrated leadership in coaching, training, and reviews.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • CPR and First Aid certification; FCHP & BMP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage assigned crew to ensure safety and productivity.
  • Plan and schedule daily work routines for the crew.
  • Ensure work meets established timeframes and quality standards.
  • Enforce safety policies; conduct onboarding safety orientations.
  • Maintain and inspect equipment and vehicles, pre- and post-shift.
  • Set up trucks with supplies and equipment each day.
  • Interface with clients and provide on-site project updates.
  • Complete timecards and work authorizations accurately and promptly.
  • Coach and train crew members for advancement.
  • Install sod and deploy safety cones; calibrate application equipment as needed.
  • Address horticultural issues including plant health, weeds, pests, and irrigation problems.
  • Identify hazards and maintain site cleanliness before departure.
  • Report safety concerns to the Supervisor and promote a safety-focused environment.

  • Interface with clients and communicate project updates on-site
  • Complete and process required paperwork, including timecards and work authorizations, accurately and on time
  • Encourage and support the advancement of crew members through training and coaching
  • Install sod, deploy safety cones, and calibrate application equipment as needed
  • Identify and address horticultural issues, including plant health, weeds, pests, and irrigation system problems
  • Implement maintenance techniques and recognize potential hazards or deficiencies in the landscape
  • Conduct quality inspections and ensure job site cleanliness before departure
  • Report job site safety concerns and potential problems to the Supervisor
  • Promote a positive, motivated, and safety-conscious work environment
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in supervising and managing crews in landscape maintenance or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of horticultural practices, including plant identification, pruning, and pest management
  • Ability to program and troubleshoot irrigation controllers and systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups
  • Ability to complete paperwork accurately and on time
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching, training, and conducting employee reviews
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Certified in CPR and First Aid; FCHP & BMP certifications preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, pushing, and stretching
  • Commitment to following all safety procedures and company policies
  • Ability to travel to designated work areas as needed
