Job summary

CW Resources, Inc. is seeking a Landscaping Crew Member for the Miramar FBI site. This part-time, on-site role offers hands-on training for mowing, edging, pruning, and mulching.

No prior landscaping experience is required, and full training will be provided to help you learn the tools and safety practices. Applicants should be reliable, able to work as part of a team, and capable of obtaining and maintaining government base access.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Start your day by checking in with your supervisor and team members.
• Review the day’s assignments and load up the truck with tools and equipment.
• Mow lawns, edge sidewalks, trim around trees and fences, and spread mulch as needed.
• Weed flowerbeds, prune shrubs, and plant seasonal flowers.
• Clean up the work site, reload tools, and communicate any notes or issues to your crew leader.

A Day in the Life of a Landscaping Crew Member:

• Start your day by checking in in your supervisor and your team members.
• Review the day’s assignments, and load up the truck with the tools and equipment you’ll need.
• Once you arrive at your assigned location, you’ll jump into action by:
  • Mowing large lawn areas, edging sidewalks and driveways, and trimming around trees, fences, and other hard-to-reach spots.
• Next, you’ll focus on landscaping tasks like:
  • Weeding flowerbeds, pruning shrubs and small trees, laying mulch, or planting seasonal flowers.
• As you wrap up the job site, you’ll blow off walkways, clear any debris, and make sure everything looks polished.
• You'll reload tools, clean up the work area, and communicate any site notes or equipment issues to your crew leader.
• Once the team arrives back to the office, you’ll help unload, clean up, and prep for the next day.

Physical & Environmental Demands:

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Requires the ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
