This is NOT an entry-level position. Candidates must have at least 1 year of verifiable experience as a Landscaping Crew Leader/Foreman. Please provide contact details for previous employers for verification!

STARTING RATE OR MINIMUM RATE OF PAY IS $18 PER HOUR AND COULD INCREASE DEPENDING ON PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES YOU HOLD.

Minimum Requirements of the Role:

• Valid Driver's License: Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Chauffeur’s Endorsement: A chauffeur’s endorsement or license is REQUIRED. The PREFERRED candidate already holds one. Candidates willing to obtain one prior to starting will also be considered.
• Previous experience: Minimum of 1 year Landscaping Crew Leader experience.
• DDOT Medical card: The PREFERRED candidate already holds one. If not, you must pass a medical exam including a drug test prior to starting.
• State of MI (MDARD) Pesticide licenses: The PREFERRED candidate already has licenses and is willing to maintain or add more at the company’s cost.
• Irrigation Experience: Preferred experience in troubleshooting, repair, startup, and shutdown.

Lead a team of 2-5 members, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. Oversee various service lines including maintenance, installation, and irrigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performance & Quality: Oversee daily operations, delegate work, maintain schedules, and identify efficiencies.
• Client Satisfaction: Address client concerns and assist in resolutions.
• Crew Management: Provide feedback, assist in training, and manage time logs.
• Safety: Enforce safety policies, maintain equipment, and log maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Equivalent experience in a landscape-related field.
