Six Flags Great America & Hurricane Harbor is seeking a Landscaping Assistant to support our outdoor maintenance team on park grounds. This part-time role offers benefits and a starting wage of 20.89 per hour, with day shift hours and weekend availability.

You'll perform tasks such as mowing, planting, pruning, watering, weed control, mulching, and snow removal while upholding park safety standards and appearance guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum Age: 18
• Specific Availability: Day shift (7am-3:30pm) summer hours (6am-2:30pm) and weekends
• Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
• Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others

Responsibilities

• Keeping all turf grass neatly mowed and trimmed
• Watering of plant materials on an as needed basis
• Transplanting of trees, shrubs, groundcovers, and flowers
• Pruning of plant materials
• Pulling weeds throughout the parks
• Spreading mulch throughout shrub beds
• Help with snow removal
• Comply with all Six Flags Safety and Fire responsibilities, policies, and procedures
• Adhere to Park attendance policy as stated in the Six Flags Handbook
• Follow and complete all delegated tasks deemed by management
• Adhere to Six Flags Standards of Appearance
