Role Description The Landscaper is responsible for the daily care and enhancement of residential and commercial outdoor spaces, including planting, pruning, mulching, mowing, and general landscape maintenance. This full-time, on-site role in St Johnsbury, VT involves installing and maintaining garden beds, helping with landscape construction projects, and supporting irrigation setup and basic troubleshooting. The Landscaper will follow landscape design plans, operate hand tools and small equipment safely, and ensure work areas are clean and organized. The role also includes monitoring plant and soil health, communicating clearly with supervisors and team members, and delivering professional, courteous service to clients.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform Landscape Maintenance and general Landscaping tasks, including routine care and upkeep of outdoor spaces.
• Hands-on experience with Gardening activities such as planting, weeding, pruning, and seasonal garden care.
• Basic knowledge of Irrigation systems, including installation assistance, maintenance, and efficient water use.
• Familiarity with Landscape Design concepts and the ability to follow design plans and layout instructions.
• Capacity to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
