Job summary

The Town of Palm Beach is seeking a skilled Landscape Gardener to maintain high-visibility landscapes to the Town’s elevated standards. You will perform pruning, seasonal color installations, irrigation monitoring, and pest/disease identification in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Requirements include 5+ years in grounds/landscape work and a Florida Class E license. GI-BMP certification is preferred or obtainable within 6 months, with knowledge of irrigation systems and disease

Qualifications

• 5+ years in grounds maintenance, horticulture, or related work.
• Valid Florida Class E driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision pruning of hedges, shrubs, trees, palms, and ornamentals.
• Install and maintain seasonal color, soil prep, mulching, fertilization.
• Identify plant, turf, and palm health issues and take corrective action.
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and soil amendments per regulations and safety protocols.
• Read and follow safety manuals, work orders, and reporting requirements.
