Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience installing, inspecting and repairing irrigation systems.
• Valid driver's license with ability to pass MVR check.
• Proficient with conventional and two-wire irrigation systems.
• Knowledge of irrigation equipment and hand/power tools.
• Spanish language abilities are a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and use hand and power tools.
• Obtain and maintain certifications/licenses required locally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair irrigation systems including valves, fittings, sprays, and controllers.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and test irrigation systems to ensure proper operation.
• Turn irrigation systems on and off as designated and program controllers.
• Inspect for leaks and perform repairs on hoses, pipes, and sprinkler heads.
• Conduct and record detailed inspections of irrigation systems.
• Promote safety and environmental practices; assist in other maintenance tasks as required.
