Job summary

SavATree is hiring a landscape technician and planter to apply knowledge of plants, trees, and grasses in growing, pruning, and fertilizing shrubs, lawns, bushes, trees, and flowers. You will design gardens and outdoor features on client properties and perform planting, transplanting, and cleanup duties.

The role involves outdoor work across community properties with a focus on health, beauty, and well-being of landscapes, plus collaboration with experienced teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Turf, Entomology, Plant Sciences, or Horticulture, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in lawn care maintenance and turf application.
• Horticulture/Arboriculture trade certification is a bonus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in landscape related field.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of plants, trees, and grasses in growing, pruning, and fertilizing shrubs, lawns, bushes, trees and flowers.
• Creative design of gardens, walkways, sitting areas, bridges and other outdoor features.
• Tree planting, transplanting, and debris cleanup on client properties.
• Operate equipment safely and work outdoors on varied properties; lift up to 50 lbs.
