Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Assistant to operate a wide range of equipment for grounds tasks and assist in routine maintenance on-site.
Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Six months of equipment operation experience and knowledge of safe practices are preferred, with strong communication skills in writing and speech.
This position exists to provide operation of a wide variety of medium and small sized equipment for completion of grounds tasks and assistance in general grounds maintenance.
The role of the Grounds Maintenance and Landscape Department is to provide a safe, functional and aesthetically-pleasing exterior environment for the students, faculty and staff of Kansas State University.
This position is On-site.
