Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Landscaper/Driver in Pontiac, MI to support maintenance for industrial, commercial, and public properties. You will drive the company vehicle and operate landscape equipment to keep plants healthy and landscapes tidy.

The role requires licensing, background checks, and the ability to lift up to 40 lb, with training on equipment. BrightView offers comprehensive benefits to full-time team members and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a Chauffeur's license or be able to obtain one.
• Must pass a criminal background check, Driver Records check and DOT Medical Physical including a drug test within 48 hours of offer.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicle with/without trailer to move crew and equipment.
• Cut turf with various mowers, trim and edge with gas-powered tools.
• Prune shrubs and trees as needed.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edger and trimmer along sidewalks and beds.
• Collect debris and mulch leaves.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
