Position Description

The Chemical Technician works closely with a direct reporting relationship to address all chemical application needs (fertilization, weed control, etc.) for client properties.

Chemical Technician

Essential Functions

  • Cleans and maintains chemical spray equipment.
  • Mixes chemicals as directed.
  • As directed, anticipates, recommends, and applies chemicals as needed for assigned client properties.

Role Requirements (Skills, Knowledge, Experience, Education)

  • Possesses a valid Utah chemical applicator license or is willing to obtain one within 90 calendar days of hire.
  • Possesses 2-3 years of chemical application experience.
  • Possesses a valid Utah driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Critical thinking skills.

Compensation

  • $18.92 to $23.00, depending on qualifications and experience.
