As a Landscape Supervisor, you'll lead talented teams that bring beautiful, functional landscape designs to life. Day in the life of a Landscape Supervisor:

  • Responsible for organizing and scheduling projects, conducting customer walkthroughs, handling locates, maintaining effective customer communication and follow-up, setting up crews, and ensuring quality control of landscaping teams.
  • Manage landscape projects ranging in scale from planting trees, shrubs, and perennials to hardscaping projects and drainage on our client properties.
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment as well as efficiently on your own while taking care of client properties and taking pride in the end results of their work.
  • Interact with clients on a daily basis communicating the process and expectations of services needed and services performed along with recommendations for other Ryan services needed on their property.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of Design/Build practices as well as other RYAN services.
  • Coach team members to develop skills, work efficiently and gain landscape knowledge
  • Ensure all team members have the tools, resources and required training to accurately meet the service demands of our customers
  • Handle customer service remediation for and client retention for dissatisfied customers

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of landscape crew lead or supervisor experience
  • General knowledge of equipment maintenance
  • Ability to safely operate equipment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to obtain DOT medical certification
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs
  • Ability to push/pull objects while walking up to 3 miles a day
  • Bilingual skills with fluency in English and Spanish is required (must be able to speak, read and write both languages)
