CEPRA Landscape is actively seeking for a Spray Technician for the Greater Bradenton Area. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Follow product labels as required by law
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and attend Safety Trainings
• Calibrate equipment frequently to ensure precise applications
• Apply pesticides and fertilizers with mechanical and hand operated equipment in a focus on safety
• Diagnose common turf and ornamental pests
• Proactive communication with managers daily before and after job completion
• Complete application records required by FDACS on a timely basis
• Work independently or on a team as required
• Assist our other branches if needed
• Reliable and proactive work
• Coordinates equipment, tools, and supplies to ensure all jobs are completed efficiently and correctly.
• Ensures proper maintenance and cleanliness of all equipment.
  
  

Basic Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Florida driver’s license and clean driving record
• Spray Tech experience in a commercial landscape setting preferred, but willing to train interested candidates who have commercial landscape experience
• Able to communicate in English both spoken and written. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand pesticide/fertilizer labels and SDS sheets
• BMP certification preferred
• Able to lift 50 lbs. or more
• Able to work outdoors in different weather conditions Mon-Thu for 10 hours a day
• Willingness to learn and work well with a team

Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

This is a full-time position. Salary commensurate with experience. Pre-employment drug test required
