We are seeking a Full-time Landscape Production Supervisor who is passionate about landscaping. You'll be responsible for managing all landscape services to ensure job site quality and appearance meet set standards, involving coordinating materials, personnel, equipment, and subcontractors. This role also includes hands-on work with crews, employee training and safety enforcement, administrative duties, and coordination with other departments to ensure efficient operations and client satisfaction.

During the winter season, this position will also play a key role in MSNW's snow and ice operations. The Landscape Production Supervisor will help coordinate and dispatch winter service routes, allocate equipment and resources, provide real-time support to crews, and participate in plowing and other winter services as needed.

Shift: Monday - Friday, During Winter Season occasional weekends| 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Pay: $27 - $30 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand client needs through regular communication with the Account Manager and Branch Manager.
  • Ensure job site quality and appearance consistently meet client and MSNW standards.
  • Manage landscape services, including coordinating the materials, personnel, equipment, and subcontractors required to produce quality work.
  • Inspect properties prior to scheduled services and prepare specific action plans, adjusting service schedules as needed.
  • Monitor irrigation systems, identify problems or necessary repairs, and communicate recommendations to the Irrigation team.
  • Monitor all aspects of the landscape and identify insect, disease, or other plant health concerns.
  • Perform hands-on work alongside crews as needed to meet operational and scheduling demands.
  • Implement and enforce MSNW policies and procedures related to the proper upkeep, maintenance, storage, use, and operation of branch equipment.
  • Work with the Account Manager to identify staffing needs, support hiring, and prepare daily crew schedules and assignments.
  • Provide hands-on training, coaching, and support to crew employees, including proper equipment operation, pruning techniques, safety procedures, and quality standards.
  • Implement methods to improve safe workplace practices and monitor compliance with company safety requirements.
  • Maintain required administrative systems and records, including timekeeping and service schedules.
  • Coordinate with the Branch Administrator to ensure branch databases are consistently updated with current client and operational information.
  • Order materials as needed and monitor costs and deliveries.
  • Request and use purchase orders in accordance with company guidelines.
Winter Services Responsibilities
  • Play a key operational role in snow and ice management services throughout the winter season.
  • Coordinate and dispatch winter service routes, adjusting assignments and priorities based on weather conditions, client needs, and operational demands.
  • Coordinate equipment and resource allocation, ensuring crews have the appropriate trucks, plows, spreaders, de-icing materials, and other resources needed for their assigned routes.
  • Provide real-time route and crew support during winter weather events, troubleshooting issues and helping keep services safe and on schedule.
  • Assist with winter event preparation, including reviewing routes, staffing, equipment readiness, material availability, and contingency plans.
  • Monitor changing weather and field conditions and help make operational adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain clear communication with crews, branch leadership, and other team members throughout winter weather events.
  • Participate hands-on in winter operations as needed, including snow plowing, deicing, and other snow and ice management activities.

Requirements
  • Spray Tech License, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Proven experience in landscape production or maintenance operations, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong understanding of landscape services, including coordination of personnel, materials, equipment, and schedules.
  • Landscape enhancement project management experience is a plus.
  • Experience with irrigation systems, including monitoring, problem identification, and repair recommendations.
  • Ability and willingness to perform hands-on work alongside crews and adapt to changing operational and scheduling demands.
  • Knowledge of proper equipment operation, upkeep, maintenance, and storage.
  • Proven team leadership experience, including crew scheduling, training, coaching, and supporting staffing needs.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and experience implementing and monitoring safe work practices.Ability to manage administrative responsibilities, including timekeeping, service schedules, and operational documentation.Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with branch leadership, crews, clients, and other departments.Experience ordering and managing materials, monitoring costs and deliveries, and following purchase order procedures.Previous snow removal, snow plowing, or winter services operations experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience coordinating or dispatching snow and ice routes and allocating equipment during winter weather events is a significant plus.
  • Ability and willingness to work outside of normal business hours during snow and ice events, which may include early mornings, nights, weekends, and extended shifts.
  • Training or certification in landscape management is highly desirable.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
