Job summary

Granite Hills Group in North Carolina is seeking a Production Manager to lead frontline crews, ensure quality, efficiency, and safety, and manage production planning, scheduling, and cost controls. This role partners with Account Managers and customers to maintain high standards on client projects.

You will hire and train crews, oversee staffing, and drive profitability while mentoring supervisors in a safety-focused culture, with growth opportunities and competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Manager and customers to perform landscape quality audits and identify maintenance needs.
• Create detailed job service plans for each client using Aspire software.
• Provide production planning, oversight and guidance to supervisors and crews on client sites to drive customer satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities to improve production methods and provide training to team members.
• Manage labor and materials costs and review financial reports and results to contribute to profitability.
• Oversee hiring and staffing to ensure appropriately staffed teams.
• Demonstrate leadership in a safety-oriented culture and enforce safety procedures.
• Mentor supervisors to lead teams and develop crew talent.

Position Summary

Production Managers are crucial members of our operations team. Production Managers lead the frontline crews to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety while creating and maintaining beautiful landscapes for our clients. This position oversees production planning, scheduling, cost estimation, materials procurement, and is directly involved with the hiring and training of crew members. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Partnering with Account Manager and customers to perform landscape quality audits to review landscape quality, task execution, identify maintenance needs, and recommend enhancement opportunities
• Creating detailed job service plans for each client, leveraging Aspire software system
• Providing production planning, oversight and guidance to supervisors and team members on client jobsites to drive customer satisfaction with timely and effective service
• Identifying opportunities to improve production methods and provide additional training to team members
• Understanding and contributing to profitability goals through proper planning of monthly operations, including management of labor and materials costs and review of financial reports and results
• Overseeing hiring and staffing needs of the business to ensure teams are appropriately staffed.
• Demonstrating ongoing leadership of a safety-oriented culture and hold all team members accountable for following safety procedure
  
• Continuously mentoring supervisors to lead teams and develop crew member talent
