Job summary

Estate Landscaping & Lawn Maintenance, LLC is a trusted Southwest Florida landscape provider with 20+ years of experience. We seek a Lawn & Ornamental Technician to maintain commercial landscapes, applying plant care expertise and precise chemical applications to deliver superior service.

Responsibilities include using Z-Sprayers and spray trucks, diagnosing pests and diseases, calibrating equipment, and maintaining safety on site. A valid driver’s license and BMP-related training are required.

Qualifications

• Experience identifying local plant species and how environment affects chemical applications.
• BMP Certification and Basic Technician Training required.
• Limited commercial fertilizer applicator license required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Apply pesticides and fertilizers to turf and ornamental beds using Z-Sprayers, spreaders, and spray trucks.
• Diagnose common insects, diseases, and weeds; determine appropriate treatments.
• Mix and handle chemicals safely with correct rates to prevent cross-contamination.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment for precise application.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and document work performed (times, products, rates, inventory).
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet route goals and uphold standards.
