Tarrant County is seeking a dependable Park and Grounds Maintenance Worker to perform upkeep on county parks, road rights-of-way, and related facilities. You will operate lawn equipment and assist in basic repair tasks.
The role requires a High School diploma or GED, at least one year of related experience, and a valid Class C driver's license (Class B CDL preferred). The position includes physical duties and exposure to heat and chemicals.
Perform park and yard maintenance duties as well as certain construction and maintenance projects on County road right-of-ways.
While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, lift, push and pull. May be exposed to hazardous chemicals and extreme heat and cold.
