Job summary

PRIDE Industries is seeking a Landscape Gardener to install and maintain landscaped areas, roads, and parking lots at assigned facilities. Under close supervision, you will ensure grounds are safe and pristine, with knowledge of landscaping practices and equipment essential.

The role requires experience in landscaping, ability to operate lawn care tools, and adherence to safety standards. This onsite position in Pacoima offers a hands-on work environment and routine outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year landscaping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance standards and safe use of chemicals preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and respond to questions from team, customers and others.
• Effective written business English communication.

Responsibilities

• Performs landscape maintenance activities and improvement projects at customer locations.
• Mows lawns, trims hedges and shrubs, maintains landscape appearance.
• Applies fertilizer, weed killer, and pesticides; maintains flower beds.
• Picks up trash and maintains a clean grounds appearance.
• Monitors irrigation systems to ensure proper watering.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
