Job summary

BrightView Landscapes in the San Diego area is seeking a Landscaper I to support maintenance across industrial, commercial, and public properties. You will perform basic landscaping tasks under supervision, operate commercial-grade equipment safely, and assist with plant material and landscape feature upkeep.

You’ll prune shrubs, plant and maintain flowerbeds, and help with routine maintenance while upholding customer service and safety standards in outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to perform basic landscaping tasks under supervision.
• Familiarity with operating common landscape maintenance equipment.
• Certified on Level 1 equipment including backpack blower and string trimmer.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with power mowers, trim and edge, and operate a blower.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to maintain shape and health.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds and landscape features.
• Inspect and maintain equipment; report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a polite, friendly demeanor with guests and customers.
• Follow safety procedures for outdoor work and traffic near work areas.
