Job summary

Ruppert Landscape is offering a 10–12 week, paid Landscape Maintenance internship in the United States. The program provides hands-on field training, job shadowing across operations, mentorship, and leadership development in a collaborative team setting.

Interns gain real-world experience in both field and office operations, with exposure to key departments and opportunities for networking. The schedule is tailored to project needs, with some time spent outside. May–August 2027.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pursuing a degree in Horticulture, Turf Management, Agribusiness, Business Management, Operations Management, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented, customer-focused attitude with willingness to support various operational needs.
• Comfortable working in office and outdoor field environments and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on field training across multiple areas of field operations.
• Job shadowing with Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Branch Leadership.
• Dedicated mentorship and ongoing feedback to support professional development.
• Exposure to management and leadership development practices.
• Collaborative team environment with interns and experienced professionals.
• Networking with peers, mentors, and leaders within Ruppert Landscape.
• Interns may receive additional training in a department of their choice at program end.
• Present internship experience and key learnings in a final presentation.

Program Overview:

• Hands-OnFieldTraining: Gain hands-on experience in multiple areas of field operations, working alongside crews and developing a comprehensive understanding of landscape production and branch operations.

• Job Shadowing: Gain exposure to key areas of the business byobservingand engaging with teams involved in Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Branch Leadership.

• Dedicated Mentorship: Work alongside an experienced mentor who will guide your progress, offer regular feedback, and support your professional development throughout the internship.

• Management & Leadership Development: Gain exposure to team building, professional etiquette, communication, leadership, and management best practices to help prepare you for future roles.

• Collaborative Team Environment: Contribute to meaningful projects while working alongside skilled professionals and fellow interns, fostering teamwork and shared learning.

• Professional Networking: Build lasting relationships with peers, mentors, and leaders within the organization, expanding your professional network and industry connections.

• Intern ChoiceExperience: Internswill haveanopportunity togainfurthertraining inthe department of their choiceatthe endof theprogram as they wrap uptheir internship.

Internship Duration:

May–August 2027 (10–12 weeks)

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalentrequired

• Candidates must be actively pursuing a degree in Horticulture, Turf Management, Agribusiness, Business Management, Operations Management, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds as part of routine job duties

• Proficient in the use of computers and common software applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
