Job summary

Father Nature Landscapes in Birmingham, AL seeks a Landscape Technician to mow, prune, mulch, and enhance residential and commercial landscapes. You will deliver concierge-style service and work across our Birmingham area, servicing as part of a skilled team.

You will operate mowers and blowers, troubleshoot irrigation and lighting, and contribute to a safe, efficient job site. We offer a generous sign-on and retention bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape installation or maintenance preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Comfort with physical outdoor work and varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Serve clients by mowing, blowing, weeding, edging, pruning, watering, mulching, shrub transplanting and more.
• Maintain properties with high attention to detail, delivering concierge-style service.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and repair landscape irrigation and lighting systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve our clients by mowing, blowing, weeding, edging, pruning, supplemental watering, mulching, shrub transplanting, and more
• Maintain each property with precision and high attention to detail, fostering the concierge-style service Father Nature offers each client
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
• Troubleshoot and repair landscape irrigation and lighting systems

Requirements

• Strength and stamina to carry 80 pounds
• Ability to work stand-by in emergencies
• Ability to access and navigate our bulk yard, loading areas, office space, and other areas of our facilities
• Ability to pass the pre-employment drug screening and background check, which includes motor vehicle reporting
• Strength, stamina, and mobility to perform physical work outdoors, including bending, stretching, and lifting in all weather conditions
