Job summary

Nouria Energy Corporation is seeking a Landscape Lead to maintain and enhance the appearance of our stores across the Nouria footprint. This hands-on role involves planting, irrigation, seasonal upkeep, and ensuring customer-ready facilities.

You will operate various equipment, perform site preparation, and execute hardscape and softscape tasks while upholding Nouria safety and quality standards. The position may require after-hours work.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 2+ years of landscape supervision experience.
• Knowledge of trees, landscape plants, annuals, and perennials.
• CDL preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work after hours or weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely cut grounds using hand, power or riding mower and maintain Nouria standards.
• Apply fertilizer to improve growth and manage weed control.
• Prepare sites for snow removal/salting season.
• Assist with loading and unloading of work trucks/trailers.
• Move and install soil, mulch, and plant materials to enhance landscape areas.
• Operate equipment including skid steers, backhoes, dump trailers, chainsaws, and others.
• Conduct daily inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Follow Nouria policies and report to supervisor.
• Inspect completed work to ensure Nouria standards.

This hands-on role ensures our facilities remain customer-ready, contributing to the overall success of our stores.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSCandidates must be able to independently carry out the duties and responsibilities listed below at a satisfactory level.* Can safely cut grounds using hand, power or riding mower for trimming edges around walkways, beds, and walls. Ensuring the sites are left to the Nouria standards.* Be able to efficiently apply fertilizer to property grounds to enhance growth.* Ensure grounds are free of weeds and dead plants.* Prepare the sites for snow removal/salting season.* Assist with loading and unloading of work trucks/trailers during the day.* Move and install soil, mulch, and plant materials that will enhance the landscape gardens and related area of our sites.* Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to skid steers, back hoes, dump trailers, chainsaws, and others.* Perform landscaping duties including but not limited to planting trees and shrubs, planting daylilies and other flowing plants, excavation, grading, site preparation, irrigation systems, seeding, mulching of beds, salting and snow removal.* Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of vehicles, tools and equipment.* Always wear appropriate protective equipment.* Installation of required materials for landscaping/irrigation.* Comply with all company policies and procedures.* Communicate regularly with your supervisor.* Inspect completed work to ensure it conforms with Nouria standards.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE* High School diploma required.* 2-years minimum experience with landscape supervision* Knowledge of trees, landscape plants, annuals, perennials, and horticultural* CDL PreferredJOB RELATED SKILLS* Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team.* Strong verbal communication and written skills.* Ability to lift 50lbs.* Irrigation system knowledge.* Hardscape installation experience is required.* Experience operating heavy equipment such as a skid loader and snow removal equipment.* Experience in utilizing landscape power tools, lawnmowers, leaf blowers, head trimmers, and chainsaws.* Experience with tree removal and pruning.* Snow removal experience* Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time.* Ability to work after hours or weekends when deemed necessary..Salary will be based upon individual’s experience level and ability.
