Job summary

Nouria Energy Corporation is seeking a dedicated Landscape Lead to maintain and enhance the look and functionality of Nouria stores. You will operate heavy equipment, install irrigation, and oversee grounds maintenance across locations.

The role requires hands-on supervision, the ability to work independently or with a team, and readiness to work after hours or weekends as needed. CDL is preferred, with competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 2+ years landscape supervision experience.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cut grounds with mowers, trimming edges to Nouria standards.
• Apply fertilizer to enhance growth and health.
• Load/unload trucks and trailers; assist with site prep.
• Operate skid steer, backhoe, chainsaws, and other gear.
• Plant trees/shrubs, irrigation work, mulching, and snow removal.
• Inspect and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment daily.
• Install landscaping and irrigation materials as directed.

This hands-on role ensures our facilities remain customer-ready, contributing to the overall success of our stores.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSCandidates must be able to independently carry out the duties and responsibilities listed below at a satisfactory level.Can safely cut grounds using hand, power or riding mower for trimming edges around walkways, beds, and walls. Ensuring the sites are left to the Nouria standards.Be able to efficiently apply fertilizer to property grounds to enhance growth.Ensure grounds are free of weeds and dead plants.Prepare the sites for snow removal/salting season.Assist with loading and unloading of work trucks/trailers during the day.Move and install soil, mulch, and plant materials that will enhance the landscape gardens and related area of our sites.Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to skid steers, back hoes, dump trailers, chainsaws, and others.Perform landscaping duties including but not limited to planting trees and shrubs, planting daylilies and other flowing plants, excavation, grading, site preparation, irrigation systems, seeding, mulching of beds, salting and snow removal.Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of vehicles, tools and equipment.Always wear appropriate protective equipment.Installation of required materials for landscaping/irrigation.Comply with all company policies and procedures.Communicate regularly with your supervisor.Inspect completed work to ensure it conforms with Nouria standards.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEHigh School diploma required.2-years minimum experience with landscape supervisionKnowledge of trees, landscape plants, annuals, perennials, and horticulturalCDL PreferredJOB RELATED SKILLSAbility to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team.Strong verbal communication and written skills.Ability to lift 50lbs.Irrigation system knowledge.Hardscape installation experience is required.Experience operating heavy equipment such as a skid loader and snow removal equipment.Experience in utilizing landscape power tools, lawnmowers, leaf blowers, head trimmers, and chainsaws.Experience with tree removal and pruning.Snow removal experienceAbility to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time.Ability to work after hours or weekends when deemed necessary..Salary will be based upon individual’s experience level and ability.
