Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $25.00/hr

General Purpose

The purpose of the Landscape Laborer is to follow the foreman’s instructions regarding the installation of a job according to the designer/estimator’s specifications and the customer’s satisfaction. This role involves most of the physical work.

Job Description

• Ability to communicate with foreman
• Follow foreman’s instructions
• Communicate with the customer in a friendly, helpful, and professional manner
• Unload and load tools, plants, and construction materials
• Plant, dig, excavate, and install most of the job’s materials
• Keep tools and work site clean, safe, and organized
• Take pride in work
• Assist in other areas of the department as needed

Physical Requirements

• Dig, haul, shovel, and plant
• Must be able to consistently lift 80 lbs.
• Operate power tools
• Bend, squat, stretch, climb, and lift
• Can see and hear
• Ability to move material in wheelbarrows
• Work outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions
• Ability to work overtime during the busy season
