Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge to operate landscape equipment.
• Experience in landscape maintenance preferred but not required; training provided.
• Familiarity with hardscape installation is a plus.
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Lift up to 100 lbs and perform manual labor.

We have about 50 full time and seasonal team members who all support each other, work together to complete each project, and help the garden center and supply yard flourish. Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and snow plows safely and efficiently
• Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers or stonework, and installing features such as patios or walkways
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to maintain safety and aesthetics
• Support seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or gardening to keep landscapes pristine year-round

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscaping equipment and hand tools
• Previous experience in landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Familiarity with landscape construction techniques including hardscape installation is a plus
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in horticulture and landscape maintenance
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license is a must; willingness to learn about equipment operation such as excavators or irrigation systems
