Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking several landscapers and general laborers for a long-term position in Charleston, WV. The role involves outdoor work improving outdoor environments for homes, businesses, and parks. Typical tasks include mowing, edging, trimming, planting, and seasonal leaf/snow removal.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm with potential overtime. Pay rate is $13.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent is required.
• Valid driver9 license.
• Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds.
• Outdoor work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mow, edge, fertilize lawns, weed and mulch landscapes, trim hedges and small trees.
• Remove unwanted trees and plantings as needed.
• Water landscapes and perform seasonal leaf and snow removal.
• Bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds as part of daily tasks.

Landscaper

A local company is seeking several commercial landscapers & general laborers. Landscapers work to provide a pleasant outdoor environment by ensuring that the grounds of houses, businesses, and parks are attractive, orderly, and healthy.

Responsibilities

As a landscaper you will be working outside mowing, edging, fertilizing lawns, weeding and mulching landscapes, trimming hedges, shrubs, and small trees, removing unwanted trees, planting, watering landscapes, and seasonal leaf and snow removal. Bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds are also required. Landscape workers perform a variety of tasks to achieve a pleasant and functional outdoor environment

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or the equivalent.
• Valid driver's license
• Steel toe shoes or boots
• Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds
• Outdoor work experience is preferred

Long term position
