Job summary

Berman Construction is seeking a Landscape Irrigation Technician I in Orlando, FL, for a full-time schedule (Mon–Thu 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM). The role focuses on inspecting, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to keep landscapes healthy and attractive, following established work plans and safety practices.

You will manage watering schedules, operate irrigation control systems, and collaborate with landscape teams to ensure efficient, compliant irrigation performance across client properties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience inspecting and maintaining irrigation systems.
• Experience operating irrigation control systems for commercial and residential properties.
• Ability to report using tablets, smartphones, and computers.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of irrigation systems
• Repair or replace irrigation components including heads, nozzles, lines, and valves
• Adjust and manage watering schedules using irrigation control systems
• Manually activate and deactivate irrigation systems as required
• Identify landscape stress related to overwatering or underwatering
• Work collaboratively with landscape teams to maintain plant health and appearance
• Follow safety policies, attend required training, and use PPE properly
