Job Title: Landscape & Irrigation Technician

Location: The Resort at Hansen Park – Kennewick, WA

Pay Range: $24-26/hr

The Management Group (TMG) is looking for a skilled Landscape & Irrigation Technician to join our team at The Resort at Hansen Park in Kennewick, WA. This position plays a key role in maintaining beautiful, clean, and healthy outdoor spaces for our residents and visitors. You'll be responsible for maintaining irrigation systems, supporting plant and tree health, and performing hands-on landscaping tasks — but without mowing or tree trimming.

If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in detailed landscaping work, and have solid knowledge of irrigation systems and horticulture, this could be the perfect fit for you!

What You’ll Do

• Monitor, operate, and adjust irrigation and sprinkler systems to ensure efficient water usage
• Inspect irrigation components regularly and perform minor repairs (sprinkler heads, valves, drip lines, timers)
• Assess the water and care needs of plants, shrubs, and ornamental trees; adjust irrigation accordingly
• Water flower beds, planters, and other landscaped areas manually when needed
• Weed landscaped areas and maintain mulch or ground cover
• Identify and report issues related to plant health, pests, and irrigation performance
• Apply fertilizer, soil amendments, and pest control products as needed
• Sweep and maintain walkways, stairwells, and common areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
• Assist with seasonal cleanup and planting activities
• Maintain tools and irrigation equipment in good working condition
• Follow company safety guidelines and procedures at all times
• Interact courteously and professionally with residents, vendors, and team members
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with drip systems, timer programming, and water conservation techniques
• Knowledge of local plant species and seasonal care practices
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions
• Comfortable working independently and following maintenance schedules
• Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset

• Competitive hourly wage: $24 – $26 per hour, DOE
• Full-time schedule, Monday–Friday
