Job summary

Greenscape is seeking a Landscaping Install Crew member to join our team and contribute to high-quality landscapes and hardscapes. The role involves early starts, collaborative work with a foreman, and delivering top workmanship across diverse job sites in the Triangle Region of North Carolina.

Ideal candidates are able to work outdoors in various weather, lift up to 50 lbs, and follow both written and verbal instructions, while maintaining a positive attitude and safety-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and on a diverse team.
• Capable of following written and verbal instructions.
• Able to lift fifty pounds independently.
• Able to remain on your feet for long periods of time.
• Able to work under all types of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Reports to work on time and ready.
• Have an excellent attitude and be willing to learn.
• Works well with team in a respectful manner.
• Assists in properly loading tools and equipment as directed.
• Maintains a neat and safe work site.
• Maintains equipment and vehicles, removes debris, dirt, and materials from cab and bed.
• Digging, planting, raking, watering and cleanup of landscapes.
• Install plantings and lawns.
• Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from truck.
• Installing sod and mulch.
• Able to perform other tasks as assigned.

As a member of the Landscaping Install Crew, you’ll kickstart your workday early, embracing the dynamic nature of the job that varies per jobsite. Collaborating with a foreman, you and the team will work cohesively to provide high-quality landscapes and hardscapes.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and on a diverse team
• Capable of following written and verbal instructions
• Ability to use simple hand tools and gas-powered equipment effectively and safely
• Basic exposure to horticulture and/or a willingness to learn more about horticulture
• Able to lift fifty pounds independently
• Able to remain on your feet for long periods of time
• Able to work under all types of weather conditions
