Sperber Landscape Companies in Tempe, AZ seeks a full-time General Maintenance Worker to join our outdoor team. You will perform landscape tasks with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality while following company policies.

This is a non-exempt position and is responsible for performing a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled landscape tasks.

Essential Functions

General maintenance workers are typically part of a crew of three or more, who help maintain Homeowner Association landscape.

Requirements Of The Job

• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Must be able to follow company safety policies.
• Must be able to pass E-Verify.
• Must be able to work full‑time (40 hours a week) Monday through Friday 6 am to 2:30 pm.
• Candidates must have a positive attitude.
• Bi‑Lingual preferred but not mandatory.
• Valid driver’s License, must pass MVR check and must have been licensed for at least one year
• Must be 18 years or older.

Special Notes

• Language: Though not required, bilingual English and Spanish skills are desirable.
• Working Conditions: Work is outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures, weather conditions, and noise levels. Introductory Period: Incumbents appointed to this job classification serve an introductory period of 90 days.
• Frequently stand, walk, or crouch on narrow and/or slippery surfaces; stoop, kneel, bend to pick up or move objects; walk for long distances and on sloped ground and uneven surfaces; move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds; normal manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination; corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
