Job summary

SiteOne Landscape Supply is seeking an Equipment Operator to safely load, unload, and transport landscape materials across our Texas facilities. You’ll operate loaders, skid steers, and excavators, keeping equipment in good condition and following all safety procedures.

The role requires the ability to lift 50 pounds plus and work in varied weather. Prior landscaping or irrigation industry experience is a plus, with opportunities for advancement within a large nationwide distributor.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders and excavators.
• Knowledge of safety and maintenance protocols for heavy machinery.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
• Experience in landscape, hardscape, forestry, nursery, or irrigation is a plus.
• Ability to read/write daily logs and complete equipment checklists.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment (front-end loaders, skid steers, track loaders, excavators) safely and efficiently.
• Clean and maintain equipment as scheduled.
• Notify leadership about maintenance/repair needs.
• Assist with other duties such as receiving materials and inventory tasks.
