Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in landscaping preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beds and lawns, dig holes for planting.
• Ensure tools are ready before leaving the yard.
• Assist Crew Leader in maintaining equipment and properties.

Position Details

• Location: Kent, CT
• Pay rate: $18-23/hour depending on experience
• Legal authorization to work in the US required
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred

At Kent Greenhouse, a division of Hoffman Landscapes, you will work on landscape enhancement projects for high-end residential clients in Litchfield and Duchess Counties. Projects include landscape installations, pruning, masonry repairs, deer fencing, plant buying, and more.

Responsibilities

• Bed & lawn preparations, digging holes for trees, shrubs, plants, laying sod & seed/hay
• Ensure all gas-powered tools are filled before leaving the yard
• Participate in in-house training
• Assist Crew Leader in maintaining yard, vehicles, and properties

Qualifications

• 0-2 years' experience in planting trees, shrubs, plants
• Basic English/Spanish communication skills
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting 50 pounds
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Availability for overtime from March 15th – December 15th
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, able to work independently
• Valid driver’s license

Compensation

Position Range: $18 - $22 per hour
